In visiting with Carmen, you will discover an intense passion for helping others. She enjoys what she does and is a huge advocate for her clients. Her vast and varied life experiences help her relate to and help clients work towards their own goals.
Carmen C. McCracken graduated from Southern Methodist University with a B.A. in Mathematics and has been in insurance and investment services since 1989. In 1993, she received her designation as a Life Underwriters Training Council Fellow (LUTCF). Carmen is a Texas Leaders Round Table Lone Star Leader and qualifying life member. She is a member of the Dallas Estate Planning Council and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), where she a former vice-president of the Foundation. She serves on the advisory boards for The Dallas Foundation and Southwestern Medical Foundation.
She is involved with many civic activities including; serving as the vice-president of the Kappa Alpha Theta House Corporation Board, serving on the Board of Governors of the Dallas Woman’s Club, chair of her SMU reunion committee and she is also currently on the Steering Committee of the Second Century campaign for SMU’s Dedman College and founding member of the Doak Walker Award Committee. Carmen was President of Issues and Interest Study, Founding chair of CASA Children’s Council and managing partner of Profitmakers, an investment club. She is a sustaining member of the Dallas Junior League and has served as Underwriting Chairman of her SMU class and of the Crystal Charity Ball Committee.
Carmen is the author of several professional lectures including, “The Ideal Method for Charitable Giving” and “Thinking about Tomorrow”. She is also an usher and carilloneur at Highland Park United Methodist Church and a world traveler.
Carmen is married to E.G. McMillan, has three daughters and seven grandchildren.
